§ 102-31. Traffic services department.

There is hereby created the traffic services department. Such department shall be responsible for the erection, maintenance and installation of all traffic control devices within and under the jurisdiction of the city. The director of the traffic services department shall be appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the city council, and shall be directly responsible to the mayor and city council. The number of other personnel within the traffic services department shall be as provided in the annual budget adopted and approved by the city council.
