§ 18-161. Permit required.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person to install, repair, replace or perform any electrical work in the city without a permit from the city.

(b)

When a project consists of more than one structure, each separate structure shall have a separate electrical permit. For purposes of determining whether separate permits are needed, buildings not having a common attic space, connected only by a canopy, walkway or similar connection, shall be deemed to be separate buildings.
