§ 2-370. Duty to advise city officers.

Unless prohibited by ethical considerations, the city attorney shall advise the city council, or any committee or member thereof, the mayor, and the heads of all departments, and, through the mayor and heads of departments, all other officers or officials of the city upon any and all legal questions affecting the city's interest.
