§ 82-67. Compliance.

  • The failure on the part of any pawnbroker, owner or operator of a pawnshop or other dealer of secondhand goods to comply with any or all provisions of this article, excepting those set forth in section 82-93, shall be deemed a misdemeanor. Upon conviction thereof, the offender shall be punished by a fine of not more than $1,000.00. Each day of noncompliance shall be deemed to constitute a separate offense and punishment shall be rendered accordingly. Failure to comply with section 82-93 shall be a violation of this Code and shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $500.00.
